For students who are outside the UK or whose mother tongue is not English, we recommend taking an IELTS course to improve your language to level 5.5 or above. This can be done alongside your studies on one of our courses. In the event that your level of English is weak, we will provide you with an integrated English language educational program to help you reach advanced levels in English.
You will need an IELTS score of at least 5.5 or higher on completion of your chosen higher education programme. You can study an English language course together with a GS course. At Level 4/5 you will need a full secondary education to be eligible to enroll on the course, and universities will require a minimum age before enrolling at the university.
For Level 7, you will need 5 years of management experience if you do not have a Bachelor’s degree. This may vary depending on the requirements of each university. However, we will consider each application individually and some exceptions may be made.
Learners must first visit the Global Studies platform to view the range of courses on offer. It is important that you choose a topic that you enjoy and that will help you reach your goals. Here are some things to consider when choosing the right topic for you:
Review the modules within the course: interest you? Is it relevant to your chosen career path? How is the course taught and assessed: Are you motivated to study via distance learning? Are you able to work independently?
GS programs are set against UK higher education qualifications which are fully transferable to a range of higher education pathways and other professional qualifications. Upon completion of the GS Level 4/5 programm, students will be awarded 240 credits (the first 2 years of a bachelor’s degree). They can then continue their final year with one of our university partners who recognize our qualifications. This is also done at Level 7. Students take 120 credits out of a total of 180 credits towards an MBA.
All higher education programs are offered in English, and some curricula have been translated into Arabic.
